The transmitter is designed for use with dynamic microphones, but can also handle line signals. Despite its compact size, this wireless system transmits audio digitally with a resolution of 44.1 kHz / 24 Bit, which ensures crystal-clear audio quality. And the low latency of less than 3.5 ms means that it won’t get in the way of your performance. The set operates in the 2.4 GHz band, so it can be used worldwide without any licensing requirements.
No more wires
The free2b wireless system is a great way to turn your favorite wired microphone into a wireless mic in a blink of an eye. However, the set is also very useful for eliminating the wired connections between mixers and DJ equipment and the PA. This helps to keep dancefloors and other highly frequented areas free of tripping hazards at parties and gigs. Bands will be pleased to hear that four of these systems can be operated simultaneously. An auto-pairing function ensures that the connection between the transmitter and receiver is easy to set up.
Start right away
A special feature of the free2b is its automatic “frequency-hopping spread spectrum” technology. It continuously scans three frequencies and automatically selects the one with the least amount of interference. The integrated lithium-ion batteries of both components provide an operating time of about 7 hours. An LED display provides information about the battery status, and there’s an auto-standby feature that helps conserve battery power. Caution: Since the transmitter does not supply phantom power, it does not work with condenser microphones that require it. The package includes a USB charging cable and an adapter from XLR to 3.5 mm mini jack – everything you need to get started right away.
