Perfect for live applications

This small-footprint microphone can be used anywhere where bulky mics, stands and messy cabling aren’t an option. This is especially the case when filming is involved. But as the t.bone Lucan System CC 200 is a clip-on system, it is suited perfectly for stage use, especially wireless applications. Even in the recording studio, it can be beneficial to attach the mic directly to the instrument, as it allows the player to move with it while maintaining a coherent sound character.
Great numbers

The t.bone Lucan’s miniature condenser capsule captures sound very precisely. Its cardioid polar pattern helps to avoid spill from neighbouring instruments, as well as excessive room ambience and reverb. The mic can be positioned fairly close to the source, as it is specifically designed for these distances. It does not pick up too much bass and stays linear, which allows for easy shaping of the signal using an EQ. 12.6 mV/Pa sensitivity, 130 dB SPL max and a signal-to-noise ratio of over 71 dB are great numbers for a micro-sized microphone, making it worthy of recording studio use!
Holder for clarinet and other wind instruments

The capsule is protected by a layer of foam, which helps reduce wind noise and vibration. A flexible, but sturdy 12-centimetre gooseneck makes positioning very easy. The 2-metre cable features locking threads and adapts to a 3-pin mini XLR plug compatible with AKG and Sirus wireless systems. Via the included phantom power adapter, the microphone can also be connected to any standard XLR microphone input that supplies 48. A simple, but effective clip attaches the t.bone Lucan System CC 200 RC to a clarinet (and other instruments up to 6.5 centimetres in diameter, like soprano saxes, certain flutes, etc.). This set ships with a padded soft case for the microphone and one holder.
