The heavy all-metal body is sturdy, so the thin aluminium ribbon picking up the sound is well-protected. When calling the RB 770 ‘classic’, we don’t refer to the gorgeous retro looks only: As it is a ribbon microphone, it delivers a warm and smooth, yet detailed sound. The further away from the sound source, the brighter it gets, the closer, the more the bass response gets enhanced.
