Lavalier of your choice
The microphone comes with a foam windscreen that dampens pop noises while you’re talking into it and helps reduce wind noise during outdoor recordings. The condenser capsule of this microphone picks up all frequencies critical for reproducing the human voice: between 50 Hz and 20 kHz. The microphone can manage a maximum sound pressure level of 125 dB SPL, which prevents distortion at high levels. The 3.5mm TRS plug with threaded ring is designed for Sennheiser bodypack transmitters. It prevents slip-outs and ensures operational safety.
Perfectly invisible
The BodymiKe – Tan EW is an affordable microphone that you can easily upgrade later. But thanks to its sound quality, it’s also a suitable replacement for your high-quality lavalier microphones. The cable length of 1.30 m provides plenty of flexibility for inconspicuously tucking it underneath your clothes. At the same time, it isn’t overly long, so you’re not left with lots of excess wire that you need to hide somewhere. This is one of the reasons why the BodymiKe makes a perfect invisible microphone for stage performances or video recordings. The subtle beige color adds to this discreet appearance.
Easy positioning
The BodymiKe – Tan EW has an omnidirectional polar pattern. While this pattern makes it a bit more prone to feedback on stages with loud monitors, it captures a good amount of ambient sound. This makes it a good choice for recordings, performances and video shoots where you want to capture ambient noise in addition to the voice. It also means that the microphone is quite forgiving in terms of positioning. Thanks to its very low weight of only 1 g, it is so light that performers won’t even notice it and wear it for long periods without fatigue. A cable clip is included, which provides additional strain relief.
