Upper class for an affordable price

the t.bone DC 4000

It includes everything you need to make a complete drum kit, be it on stage for a live concert, in a rehearsal room or of course in a recording studio for professional music recordings. The set consists of two the t.bone EM 81 small diaphragm condenser microphones for overhead use, the BD 25 Beta bass drum microphone and four the t.bone CD 56 Beta dynamic mics for toms and snare.

Stereo pair of premium condensers

The two the t.bone EM 81 small diaphragm condenser microphones feature cardioid pickup patterns and form a premium stereo pair. This allows to you to choose from a variety of stereo setups: XY, ORTF and cardioid-based AB, or just select the configuration that best matches your sonic vision. By the way: The EM 81s also sound excellent on acoustic guitar, violin, choir, ensembles, orchestras… you name it! With a frequency range from 20 Hz to 18 kHz, a sensitivity of 9.5 mV/Pa, a noise level of 17 dB(A) and a maximum SPL of 135 dB, they are true all-purpose mics that easily connect to all preamps delivering 9-52 volts phantom power.

Good channel separation

the t.bone DC 4000

The BD 25 Beta bass drum microphone and the CD 56 Betas are moving coil systems with high directivity. This minimises bleed from other instruments and helps to achieve a perfect separation of signals. While the BD 25 Beta has a frequency response tailored for a massive bass and a punchy beater sound, the CD 56 Betas concentrate on clear stick attacks and a round yet transparent tone. They are small and lightweight enough to be used on drum rim clip mounts, but can of course also be placed on standard microphone stands. The t.bone DC 4000 comes with a rugged aluminium case.
