The drummer's headphones

The t.bone HD 990D is a pair of headphones that fulfils these tasks. Thanks to the closed circumaural earcups, the attenuation of ambient noise is very high at 22 dB(A). The pads seal with just the right amount of force. Thanks to the large-dimensioned cushions and the wide, padded head band, the HD 990D is very comfortable to wear.
Loud enough even when connected to weak amps

Both of the sturdy earcups are fitted with dynamic moving coil drivers that generate a sound pressure level of up to 105 dB. With an impedance of only 35 ohms, the t.bone HD 990D will easily generate a sufficient sound pressure level even if connected to mobile devices, wireless receivers or other gear with weak headphone amplifiers. The frequency range covered by these headphones exceeds the spectrum of human hearing, as it starts at 10 Hz and goes all the way up to 20 kHz. All in all, the sound is detailed, tight and focused.
Cable run

The cable is fixed to the left side. But as the headphones are essentially symmetrical, they can also be worn the other way around (thereby inverting the stereo image). Drummers can run the cable down the back to the belt and connect it to a bodypack or an extension cord. It is also possible to connect gear located to the left or right sides, like a metronome, a laptop computer or other devices. The attached cord is 1 metre in length. Because it is coiled, it can extend to up to 4 metres. An adapter to convert from 3.5 mm (1/8”) to 6.35 mm (1/4”) is included.
